Come to practice and try it out; you can attend 4 practices for free to see if you like it. Then it is a $10 membership fee each semester!

We really like Samurai, too! It is one of our favorite dances to perform!

Have you heard of Uraja? It is similar to this dancing style- the music is also quite similar. It is done in Okayama- and danced during the demon festival. Okayama is where Momotaro, the peach boy, was born and this is the festival honoring his battle of the demons.

Hi, I am a primary school teacher in New Zealand, and I have a (small) soran dance group here at our school. Is there any way of down-loading your videos to be able to save to dvd, for teaching the children in my group?
I am with Metropolitan Community College-Longview in Lee’s Summit, Missouri (a suburb of Kansas City). We have an annual Discover the World International Arts Series in our Cultural Arts Center for our students and community. This past year we focused on Africa, Brazil and China. This coming year we hope to focus on Japan. Fran Lemery referred me to your group. I would like to get information on the cost and availability of your group. 第七回京都さくらよさこい実行委員の三宮と申します。
このたび、第七回京都さくらよさこいの開催をご案内させていただきます。
開催にあたり、たくさんの関西の踊り子さんにぜひとも参加していただきたくご案内させていただいた次第です。
開催日は2011年4月2日（土）、3日（日）の二日間です。各チーム様一日からより気軽にご参加いただけます。
京都さくらよさこいは、京都市役所前広場をメイン会場に、桜舞う4月の京都中心部で過去６回開催してまいりました。
今回は、メイン会場とともに平安神宮周辺の岡崎エリアでの開催も決定致しました。
桜の咲き誇る京の都での演舞をよりご堪能いただけます！
２日目のフィナーレでは、恒例の目玉企画「一時間総踊り」はもちろん、コンテスト受賞チームやゲストチーム「十人十彩」の演舞も企画しております。
また新企画も新たに企画中です。
